The shuttle policy has been updated. Originally tickets were sold with times, but you can enter ANY available shuttle. They are not time specific and will run continuously from 4pm to 9:50pm. Be sure to board a shuttle that will ensure you arrive in time for your entry time slot on the admission tickets.
Shuttles will pick visitors up from the LIRR train station Manhasset stop and the Macy's Parking Lot before dropping off at the event entrance. Pick up from the event exit will drop visitors off at Macy's and the Manhasset stop.
Shuttle Schedule: Expect wait times. Shuttle seats are first come, first serve. If you do not make it onto the current bus, please wait and board the following. Buses may arrive earlier or later than scheduled due to weather, traffic, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Once you get to the festival at Whitney Pond Park, you will have to check-in at the main entrance or the VIP entrance (Only for Lumi VIP ticket holders). Immediately once you enter, be prepared to be transported into a world of light and radiance. To experience the festival correctly, it is a one-way festival that will loop you back to the exit. Please be aware that other visitors will be enjoying the experience as well, so please follow the flow of the festival. Readmittance, after you leave the festival, is prohibited.
Only ADA-certified animals are allowed into the festival.
Strollers are allowed into the festival but we do not offer check services and strollers are not available for rental.
There will be no onsite parking available except VIP (one ticket per car). Both parking and shuttle rides to this new venue will now be FREE! If you will be driving to the festival, you may park for free at the Macy’s parking lot in the designated spaces near the park, and we’ll be providing a FREE shuttle bus to bring guests to and from the festival location.

We accept ticket refund requests up to 1-day before the event. Tickets can be changed prior to use for a fee of $1 per ticket changed. Tickets grant access only on the selected day and time slot. No re-entry is allowed. Once a ticket has been used, it cannot be changed, refunded, or exchanged. Tickets are subject to our Terms & Conditions. Tickets can only be used for the day and time slot that was purchased and cannot be reused for future admission. An admission ticket is required for every visitor ages 3 and up and is only for the date and time that you purchase. Both festivals are ADA compliant and we have made sure that every visitor has the ability to view and experience the festival in the best way possible. We do not offer check services or wheelchair rentals.
The LuminoCity festival is a rain or shine event unless canceled due to a Force Majeure Event*. If such an instance occurs, tickets for that day/time slot(s) will be exchanged or refunded. Notice of such occurrences will be communicated to those ticket holders through our ticketing system, newsletter, social media and will be posted on our website.
*A force majeure event is the occurrence of an event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the event organizer, including, but not limited to, explosions, fires, floods, earthquakes, catastrophic weather conditions, or other elements of nature or acts of God; acts of war (declared or undeclared), acts of terrorism, insurrection, riots, civil disorder, rebellion or sabotage; city-wide illness outbreak or pandemic, biosecurity incident, acts of federal, state, local or foreign governmental authorities or courts.; labor disputes, lockouts, strikes, or other industrial action, whether direct or indirect and whether lawful or unlawful; failures or fluctuations in electrical power or telecommunications service or equipment.

Lumi is our mascot here at the LuminoCity Festival. Shaped like an adorable light bulb, he will be your tour guide as you walk through the expansive multi-acre festival of lights. Don’t forget to take a selfie with him! Lumi loves showing off all the hard work he and his team have accomplished every year.
Every year, we bring new and unique pieces of art into our festival to create a multi-acre immersive experience full of magic and wonder. This year is no different. Inspired by our 2021 theme, Shine Again’, we aspire to bring hope, joy and that spark of creativity that lives in all of us. Lumi’s Gift shop will be open with new 2021 collectibles. We will also have local vendors in our festival to keep your tummy full and happy! To keep all visitors safe, we will not be hosting our annual music festival this year. However, we have replaced that with even more exciting and larger-than-life exhibits to show you. This year, we have an all-new exhibit entitled Lumi’s Utopia and we will be bringing back Lumi’s Friends this year for another exciting holiday festival.
This year the LuminoCity festival will not be held at Randall’s Island. For the first time, we will be taking The LuminoCoity festival to two different locations! We will be hosting our festival in the beautiful Whitney Pond Park in Manhasset, NY and magnificent Roer’s Zoofari in Fairfax County, VA this holiday season.
LuminoCity was imagined through a desire to create unforgettable experiences. Using light and imagination, we can explore concepts of transforming creative thoughts, inspired by the world around us, into illuminating works of light and color.
